Home made Healthy Dosa

One of doctor advise after annual checkup is to reduce rice, find alternatives & you can guess the state of south indians. Below is the one of the recipe Dosa  I came up towards meeting my health plan. 

  1. Soak the below items for 6 - 8 hrs in a container
    • Barley - 2cup
    • Brown Rice - 1 cup
    • Channa Dal - 2 Tbsp
    • Urad Dal - 3/4 cup
    • Whole Moong - 3/4 cup
    • Quinoa - 1 cup
    • Spelt - 1 cup
    • Methi Seeds - 1 Tbsp
  2. Grind the above items into a smooth consistency by adding enough water
    • Make sure to combine Rolled Oats - 1 cup at the time of grinding
  3. Let it ferment in a large enough bowl lightly covered, for about 6-8 hours in a warm place
  4. Add Salt for taste
  5. Now batter is ready 
  6. Now fermented batter is ready to be placed on heated tawa
